Cheddar and Jalapeno Easy Drop Biscuts

These Cheddar & jalapeño easy drop biscuits are fluffy and moist. They have a beautiful sharp cheddar and spicy jalapeño flavor that’s rounded off by a smooth buttery undertone.


  • 3 cups of flour
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup of salted butter (Melted)
  • 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 vegetable oil
  • 5 med jalapeño (finely chopped)


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Add all dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add all wet ingredients to mixing bowl. (Do not add cheddar cheese or jalapeños at this time) Mix well.
  4. Add cheddar cheese and jalapeños to mixing bowl.
  5. Mix until ingredients are evenly distributed in the biscuit mix.
  6. Drop biscuits even across a parchment paper cover cookie sheet. Batch should make about 12 biscuits. (I used a 1/4 measuring cup to make evenly sized biscuits).
  7. Bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until they start browning on top.
